About us

As a Region we are comprised of; North Ayrshire & Arran, Ayrshire East, Kyle & Carrick, Dumfriesshire and Galloway. Our role as a region is to aid in the development and growth of the Individual districts, as well as maintaining good communication between Districts.

This is only possible through the efforts of the Region working alongside the district teams, and all the excellent adult volunteers that give up their time to give the best possible opportunities to the young people of Scouting. One of the Region’s key tasks is therefore the training of these adult volunteers.

Above this the Region is also responsible for the organisation of regional events and international events.

To find out more about the work the Region has been doing recently I encourage you to look at our Latest News, and to keep up to date please follow us on Facebook and Twitter

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
