YOUTH INVOLVEMENT

South West Region relaunched youth involvement by holding an event at the 21st Ayrshire Kilmarnock Scout Hall. The day was well attended by young people from across the Region who came together with thoughts and ideas of how to promote and develop youth involvement at firstly Regional level and then how this can be implemented within the Districts. During the day, the young people came up with what they thought youth involvement should be, the goals for the Regional Youth Advisory Group (RYAG) and then split themselves up into 3 working groups and developed an action plan on how to take each of the strands forward
