New Regional Chairperson

Date: 19th Mar 2019 Author: Scout Websites

Below is a message from the Regional Commissioner;

I am pleased to announce that Margaret Craik has agreed to take on the role of Regional Chairperson. After the AGM, Eric informed me of his intention to stand down as chair of the Regional Exec which started my search for his replacement. I am very pleased to say that Margaret agreed to take on the role and will work closely with Eric and myself over the coming months to ensure a smooth handover and take on the role formally following the AGM in September.

Margaret has a vast and wide range of experience in Scouting and at all levels in Scouting from group to Scottish and this knowledge and experience will be invaluable to the Region.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Eric for all his work as Regional Chair over the years and to welcome Margaret to the team and I look forward to working with you over the coming months and years.

Yours in Scouting,

James Cumming.
